This elegant coffee table is presented in American black walnut. It breaks from the tradition of using marquetry inlay lengthways around the edge of a furniture piece. Instead, it turns the whole concept around by using shorter lengths of inlay and rotating them through 90 degrees. The inlay is presented in different lengths to trace out an arc, thus producing an interesting aesthetic effect.
